Raises the door 1/2" in 180°.
For use on acoustic doors or any application where improved sealing characteristics are required. Can also be used in self-closing applications where the minimum door weight is 150 lbs.
The Series Lift hinge kit has been designed and tested for doors weighing 500 lbs and have been cycled 1 million times without any noticeable wear.
The kit is comprised of (2) hinges: one functional lift hinge (Lift UXXX) identified by the set screw on the bottom, one radial support hinge (Lift LXXX) and (16) 1/4-20 zinc-plated, high strength alloy, flat head socket screws.

Hinge Features:

  • 500 lb thrust capacity or door weight
  • 200 lb radial capacity
  • Unique high lead power screw and nut design provide the lifting action; resulting in a hinge that will take higher loads, wear less, and operate easier than conventional cam lift hinges.
  • Vertical adjustment (+/- 1/8")
  • All wear surfaces are lubricated and sealed from the environment
  • Custom designs can be made for high capacities
  • Approximate torque to raise door - 0.23 lb.-in./lbs.
